We invite you to join us for friendship, fun, and adventure; and to grow in the spirit of Scouting - preparedness, readiness to help others, honesty, self-confidence, and responsibility.

Scouting provides youth with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethical standards. These opportunities not only help them when they are young but also carry forward into their adult lives, improving their relationships, their work lives, their family lives, and the values by which they live

 

 

How do you become a member of Scouts BSA? 

Meet the age requirements. Be a boy who is 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old. Complete a Boy Scout application and health history signed by your parent or guardian.

  BUY MULCH HERE!!!   Troop 161's Annual Plant and Mulch Sale is happening again. This fundraising event benefits BSA Troop 161. Clifton's longest runing scout troop. We deliver mulch to Clifton, Northside, College Hill, Spring Grove Village, Camp Washington, and North Avondale

2023 Work Day

Annual work day where the scouts clean and organize all of the troop equipment. The scouts also worked on standard maintenance of the meeting space.
